Hotel X is a redesign of the northwest corner of King and Spadina to incorporate hotel and commercial opportunities in the entertainment district. Our group chose to maintain the industrial feel of the original building while increasing the size of the building to incorporate more programming. The entertainment district is a lively and dynamic community. Incorporating a bar, restaurant, and additional gathering spaces for not only hotel guests but also the public allows the hotel to blend in with the neighbourhood.
